KUWAITNET was founded by Bashar Al-Abdulhadi in 1997. With the increased demand of e-service in Kuwait, KUWAITNET moved from one-man office to a company that now employs 45 people, including Mr. Bashar Al-Abdulhadi who is the technical head of the company having its headquarters at Dar Al-Awadi Tower, Kuwait City.

He is the founder and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of KUWAITNET, the first ICANN accredited registrars in the region, as well as the leading IT company in Kuwait for Unix/Linux, Open Source Technologies, Domain Names, Application Hosting, Digital Certificates and Security Solutions, Web Development, Internet Infrastructure Services and Cloud Computing Services. Bashar has a rich background in Projects Management for web and mobile application development, with progressive UX/UI experience since 2003. As the only Premier Business Partner of Red Hat, KUWAITNET has served the largest enterprises in Kuwait related to data center infrastructure.

Bashar acts as the digital business leader along with acting as a DCEO. He is focused on utilizing innovative technologies to transform the company’s business model and products. His approach is to “push” technology toward the key business functions. He has been key to forming some of our international partnerships and bring new technologies to Kuwait. He holds certificates in Digital Security, Unix, Linux, and Solaris Operating Systems and is a great believer in the principles of Open Source Software giving back to the world-wide IT community. He is also the co-founder of the Kuwaiti chapter of the Google Developers Group and the Kuwait Open Source Community and was a member of the judging panel in Kuwait's first worldwide StartupWeekend.org event.

KMSGer is one of Bashar’s projects that he believes will help businesses communicate with all its customers all at once.
